Uniform Information

Our uniform reflects our commitment to creating a learning environment rooted in faith, virtue, respect, and above all community and belonging.

School uniforms help minimize distraction and comparison, and promote modesty, encourage equality among students, fosters school pride, and remind us that each student is valued for who they are in their interior life–not for what they wear.  Wearing the uniform well and as expected is also an opportunity to practices virtues of responsibility, humility and self-discipline as students learn to care for their appearance and represent both themselves and our school with dignity.  Our ultimate goal is not simply compliance with a dress code. Rather, we hope students come to understand that the way we present ourselves outwardly can reflect the respect we have for God, ourselves and one another.

A Note about Skirt, Jumper and Short Length – We use the phrase “at the knee” to be as clear and consistent as possible to define our view of modest length.  Simply put, when standing naturally, hems of skirts, skorts, jumpers, uniform shorts should reach approximately at the knee.  Because children grow quickly and clothing fits differently from one brand to another, this is a guideline rather than an exact measurement.

When in doubt, we encourage families to choose the slightly longer option that best fits your child.  If an appropriate fit cannot be found, approved uniform pants are always a solid choice.
