Faith at Epiphany is more than something we teach – it is the heart of who we are. Every school day provides opportunities for students to grow closer to Jesus Christ in their own personal relationship with Him. This is through prayer, worship, service, virtue and an authentic Christian community. Our goal is not simply to help students grow in knowledge of their faith, but to help them encounter Christ, grow in Wisdom and learn to apply this into their daily lives.
Prayer is a natural part of every school day. We begin together each day as one school community to begin in prayer. As a whole-school family, we gather each week to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where students actively participate as readers, altar servers, gift bearers, choir members and more. Throughout the year, students also participate in Holy Day liturgies, seasonal devotions, and more.
Students have regular opportunities to encounter Christ in the Sacraments through Reconciliation, Confession, and time spent with Jesus in Blessed Sacrament in our St. John Paul II Adoration Chapel.
Beyond the School Day – Faith formation and invitation continues well beyond the classroom with a variety of parish and diocesan opportunities.
They include:
- Regular Parish Youth Group gatherings
- Totus Tuus Summer Program
- Emmaus Days (for young men)
- Finding Your Fiat (for young women)
- Damascus Summer Camp
- Community Outreach
- Additional retreats, conferences, and faith events throughout the calendar year
